One of just 100 double signed & numbered paperbacks which are signed and numbered by Philip Reeve and signed by Dave Semple, the book's Illustrator. these are stamped with a 'Scarper' stamp or a 'King Knobbler' stamp, both stamps being designed by Illustrator Dave Semple.

LAIKA, the stop motion animation studio behind Coraline and the upcoming ParaNorman, have optioned the rights. It seems that already, the film project has a good momentum as veteran direcor Mark Gustafson is lined up to direct.
