A superb set of two signed & numbered limited editions of John Boyne's excellent book The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas.
The first is the Borders Book Chain adults cover varient with bellyband, signed and numbered to the title page: 934/1000. Of the two books on offer, this is the earliest published in 2006, scarcest and most collectable edition. Has full numberline denoting its first print status: 1 3 5 7 9 10 8 6 4 2. It complete with bellyband and the book is in fine unread condition with the dustjacket in fine condition with slight shelfwear and one small mark to the front above the title (see photo).
The second in this set is the Waterstones Limited Edition. Published two years after the original edition it curiously has no other date on the copyright page other than 2006. Has a deluxe binding - blue cloth with silver embossed lettering and comes in a striped clipcase. It has a full numberline 1 3 5 7 9 10 8 6 4 2 and is signed and numbered to a special pre-title limitation pageand is 624/1500. A fine unread hardcover in a fine slipcase with a very small impression mark to the front of slipcase.
