On the title page author Philip Reeve signed & numbered 500 first editions prior to publication on April 30th 2009 in-house at Scholastic UK. The publishers have produced a “Declaration of Authenticity” relating to Philip’s signature and numbering of each of these books. The quality and attention to detail on these letters are striking. These Scholastic headed letters are printed on Conqueror paper and the text is in the same font as the book itself. Every one of the 500 letters that go with each book has been hand signed by Philip’s Publisher Marion Lloyd who was present during the signing at Scholastic.

The title page is also stamped with a symbol of a wheeled armoured fortress - This stamp is an exclusive to these 500 numbered copies was chosen and designed by cover illustrator David Wyatt. Those who have read the story will appreciate that this is a fitting addition from David. A Fever Crumb promotional postcard is also included which features the excellent cover artwork by David Wyatt.

The photo's of the signed page and letter are for example only. The number you receive out of 500 will be randomly allocated.
